Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Telovra provides intent-based internet filtering for families and individuals. Privacy is central to how we build our product — not an afterthought. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What We Collect

- Information you provide through forms (name, email, message content)
- Basic analytics data (page views, referral source) — no personal identifiers
In the Telovra product (when launched)
- Account information (email, display name)
- Intent descriptions and filtering preferences you set
- Page-level metadata for content classification (domain, topic signals)
What we do NOT collect
- We do not log your full browsing history
- We do not capture keystrokes or screenshots
- We do not read private messages, emails, or encrypted communications
- We do not build advertising profiles
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the filtering service
- To respond to your inquiries and support requests
- To send product updates if you opted in (waitlist or account)
- To improve classification accuracy using aggregated, anonymized data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Children's Privacy
Telovra Family is designed to help parents protect children online. We take our responsibilities under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) seriously.
- We require verifiable parental consent before collecting any data from children under 13
- Parents can review, modify, or delete their child's data at any time
- We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the filtering service
- Children's data is never sold or used for advertising
Data Sharing
We share data only when necessary to operate the service:
- Infrastructure providers — hosting, email delivery, and analytics services that process data on our behalf under strict contracts
- Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or court order
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not allow third-party trackers on our site.
Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as needed to provide the service. Specifically:
- Account data is kept while your account is active
- Filtering metadata is retained for up to 30 days, then deleted
- When you delete your account, all personal data is removed within 30 days
Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your data. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel and logged for accountability. For more details on our security practices, see our Security & Trust page.

You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — update or correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — request that we delete your data
- Portability — receive your data in a standard format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@telovra.com.

- Preference storage — localStorage to remember your Family/Focus preference (not a cookie, no data leaves your device)
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
